MVS Engineering Pvt. Ltd. design and manufactures PSA oxygen generation systems that are suitable for flows 1 nm3/hrto 200 nm3/hr. The company also manufactures VPSA oxygen generators for the customer who needs higher flows. With MVS PSA oxygen generators, purity up to 95% is easily achievable. In this gas, you get balance gases; mixture of inert gases such as argon and nitrogen. This purity level is suitable for many applications like furnace enrichment, water purification etc.
Without any additional booster, MVS oxygen generators can deliver oxygen gas directly at 5 kg/cm2g pressure that is suitable for most applications. For customers who require higher pressure oxygen for their processor for the storage, MVS also supplies additional booster.
MVS oxygen generators deliver gas with dew point as low as (-) 40° C, which means it delivers a very dry gas. To measure the dryness of the gas online, MVS also offers a measuring instrument.
How does MVS PSA oxygen generators work?
MVS oxygen generators are based on the mature and well-known technology PSA known as Pressure Swing Adsorption. The air around us comprises of 21% oxygen and the PSA process uses Zeolite molecular sieves to extract this oxygen from the air. O2 is delivered at 93 to 95% purity level, while nitrogen is adsorbed by the molecular sieves and vented back into the air through the exhaust line.
PSA process has two vessels filled with activated Alumina and molecular sieves. At 30 degree temperature, clean compressed air is passed through one of the two vessels and as a result, the product gas that comes out is Oxygen. The exhaust gas i.e. Nitrogen is discharged back into the atmosphere. When the molecular sieve bed gets saturated, the process switches oxygen generation to the other bed by automatic valves allowing the saturated bed to undergo regeneration by depressurization upto atmospheric pressure. The two vessels keep switching in Oxygen production and regeneration ensuring oxygen gas is continuously available for your process.
